“The Jardin Majorelle, one of the jewels of Marrakech, located a stone's throw from the Medina, is a must-see destination for lovers of art, nature and culture. created in 1931 by the famous painter Jacques Majorelle. Jacques Majorelle, an impressionist painter, bought this small palm grove in the heart of Marrakech to make it his studio and residence. In 1980, upon learning that the Garden and the Villa of the Painter Majorelle were to be destroyed for a real estate project, Yves Saint Laurent, the famous fashion designer and his companion Pierre Bergé, who had already purchased the neighbouring Villa Oasis, bought the Garden and the Villa which gave its name to the famous "Bleu Majorelle" colour.”

I inspired by this unique garden and structure, and I combined the famous majorelle blue with bright yellow and turquoise just as they are used in the garden.
