Baraka

“Baraka” is a sacred concept deeply rooted in Moroccan spiritual tradition. It refers to an invisible blessing—an energy that cannot be seen, yet can be profoundly felt. It is believed to flow through people, places, and moments, connecting them beyond the physical world.

Inspired by the spiritual atmosphere of Marrakech, this work imagines that unseen force taking form.

The sculptural brushstrokes are not portraits of individuals, but vessels of presence. Their identities dissolve into flowing gestures, suggesting that what truly connects us is not the body, but the invisible energy we carry and share.

The textured surface echoes the weathered walls of Marrakech, while subtle geometric impressions recall the city’s timeless architecture and sacred patterns. Together, they create a space where memory, silence, and spirituality converge.

“Baraka” is an exploration of presence beyond form—of the invisible currents that unite us, long after words have disappeared.
